About The Position

Hayward Labs is seeking a Production Line Lead with supervisor experience. The role is responsible for setting up and starting the production line at the beginning of the day. The employee will be trained to perform all essential functions of a Line Worker. The Line Lead checks daily schedules and work orders, uses the before-startup checklist to verify components, codes, and equipment, ensures appropriate line staffing and employee placement, and instructs employees on their assigned tasks. The role also requires maintaining line cleanliness through the end of the shift, attending two safety meetings monthly, and following facility safety and cGMP requirements, including use of job-appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Supervisor experience.
• Ability to comprehend and carry out reasonable instructions from the supervisor and/or department manager, mainly but not limited to training issues.
• Follow facility safety and cGMP requirements and use job-appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start the production line at the beginning of the day.
• Check the daily schedule to verify line assignments.
• Read work orders to understand the expected job assembly.
• Use the before-startup checklist to verify components, codes, equipment, and other startup requirements.
• Ensure line staffing meets product standards and employees are placed in appropriate positions.
• Instruct employees on the tasks they are to perform.
• Ensure the line is completely clean by the end of the shift.
• Attend two safety meetings each month.
• Follow facility safety and cGMP requirements and ensure required personal protective equipment is used.
