About The Position

The Production Lead helps ensure shift operations meet production quality, quantity, and safety standards. The role acts as a liaison between management and plant personnel, assigns daily work to maximize operations, and keeps management informed about disruptions or changes to output. The Production Lead also works alongside employees on rebar shearing and bending, overhead crane operation, and loading and unloading trailers. The position supports employee development through training, accountability, and performance feedback to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and customers.
• Must be willing to work in the elements for most of the workday.
• Some heavy lifting is necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction or manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet production quality, quantity, and safety standards on the shift.
• Act as a liaison between management and plant personnel.
• Assign daily work to maximize shift operations.
• Keep management informed of disruptions or changes to output.
• Work alongside employees to shear and bend rebar.
• Operate an overhead crane and load and unload trailers with shipments.
• Assist with employee development by providing training, holding employees accountable, and giving performance feedback to the Shift Supervisor.
