About The Position

The Production Lead assists the Manufacturing Shift Manager and/or Production Supervisors across production operations. The role provides support and guidance to the team, helps train production personnel and processes, and maintains the ability to provide expertise and hands-on assistance wherever needed in production operations. The Production Lead provides performance feedback, assists with interviewing candidates, coordinates work for the assigned team, and supports designated areas or teams. The role also provides input on processes and team performance while promoting company policies, safety procedures, goals, expectations, purpose, and values.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1 to up to 3 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

3 to 5 years of leadership and manufacturing experience.
Forklift certification.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training.
Hazard Communication (HazCom) training.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training.
Additional equipment-specific or on-the-job training may be required.

Responsibilities

Support daily production activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Lead pre-shift and post-shift meetings and communicate key updates to the team.
Ensure production processes and systems, including SAP, D4A, and Altizon, are followed and accurate.
Set up, start, operate, and perform changeovers on multiple machines.
Monitor production, inspect product quality, and make adjustments to maintain standards.
Conduct quality checks and communicate results to support teams.
Train new team members and provide day-to-day guidance on the production line.
Provide performance feedback to Production Supervisors and/or the Manufacturing Shift Manager.
Assist with interviewing potential candidates and coordinate work for the assigned team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
