About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Production Senior Lead for its Byron Center plant. The role oversees molding personnel to ensure orders are produced on time and meet safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. The Senior Lead works independently and leads a small group to meet production schedules and quality standards, reporting issues to a supervisor. The role also performs data collection in PeopleSoft (ERP), helps maximize yield and reduce scrap, and reports department metrics. The Senior Lead verifies order information and produces parts with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerances and customer specifications while meeting productivity standards. The position is on the third shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

Fluency in spoken and written English.
Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Prior supervisory or lead experience.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
