About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Production Senior Lead for the Byron Center plant on the 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. The Senior Lead directs molding personnel and helps ensure production orders are completed on schedule and meet safety, quality, customer, and productivity requirements. The role works independently and leads a small group, reporting issues to a supervisor.

Requirements

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Prior supervisory or lead experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

Direct molding personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely manner and comply with safety and quality standards, company policies, and applicable laws.
Lead employees within a small group to meet production schedules and quality standards, working independently and reporting issues to the supervisor.
Perform data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP).
Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
Report department metrics.
Verify order information and produce parts using the correct material, density, weight, size, and shape within quality tolerances and customer specifications while meeting productivity standards.
