About The Position

The Production Lead (Commingle Lead Operator) sets up machines, feeds finished mail into them, and prepares mail for final processing. This fast-paced, detail-oriented role supports day-to-day operations, including job management and attendance tracking, while ensuring the quality of the final product. The lead maintains production goals and workflow, coordinates with the warehouse, and provides feedback to operators. The position is located at JSM, 100 Industrial Drive, Hamburg, PA 19526, and is scheduled for the second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a lead.
Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of production and processing, including raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing efficiency.
Mechanical knowledge of print machines and tools.
Reliability and dependability.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
One or more years of experience in a print shop or mail industry preferred but not required.
Conversational English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up jobs, print tags, feed machines, and troubleshoot issues as an operator.
Perform light machine maintenance.
Read and comprehend reports.
Coordinate with the warehouse.
Provide feedback to operators.
Maintain production goals and manage workflow.
Follow established procedures and safety protocols and comply with company safety standards, rules, and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with job management and attendance tracking.
Ensure the quality of the final product.
