About The Position

Sika is seeking an experienced Operator/Compounder to join its SIKA Power team in Grandview, working with the Automotive and Industry team. The role involves preparing product batches by combining chemicals in quantities specified by work orders and following procedures and vendor specifications. The position is permanent and operates Monday through Friday, with either an 8-hour first shift (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) or second shift (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.).

Requirements

• High school equivalency.
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Excellent communication skills characterized by sincerity, persuasiveness, and clarity of thought.

Responsibilities

• Combine chemicals in quantities specified by work orders to produce quality batches.
• Read and follow procedures to create batches according to vendor specifications.
• Use basic knowledge of chemical reactions to produce quality batches and address errors as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and safely operate required equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform miscellaneous duties requested by supervisors or team leads.
