About The Position
The Production Lead at Nucor Towers & Structures’ West Hazleton facility is a member of the leadership team who supports production operations and teammate development. The role monitors machine loading and product flow, oversees and trains teammates on the line, and communicates production-related information across departments and among teammates. The lead establishes the pace of the line and maintains efficiency and quality. The position may also fill in for other line roles and for the Supervisor as needed. Safety is a priority, and the role requires upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Competence with Microsoft Office software programs.
- At least 6 months of experience in steel manufacturing.

- Knowledge of operations processes and procedures.
- Previous leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate positively as a member of the NTS Hazleton leadership team.
- Actively contribute to developing teammates within the company culture.
- Monitor machine loading to ensure proper product flow throughout the department.
- Oversee and train teammates on the production line.
- Communicate production-related information to other departments and teammates.
- Establish and maintain the pace, efficiency, and quality of the line.
- Fill in for other positions on the line and for the Supervisor as necessary.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
