About The Position

The NTS Buyer is responsible for placing orders and refining processes and procedures to support procurement initiatives, including maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), capital projects, raw materials, and outside processing. This position serves as the business unit subject matter expert supporting a new ERP system, purchasing transactions, reporting, and analysis. Candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of experience as a buyer or in a supply chain role.
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience improving or implementing processes or tools.
• Logistics experience.
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
