About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety, quality, and productivity. Tyson Foods is hiring immediately for multiple Production Lead - 2nd Shift positions. The role involves managing all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation, ensuring team compliance and up-to-date training. It also requires producing all product according to production and packaging parameters to maintain quality requirements, operating production equipment to maximize output while upholding quality standards, managing GMPs, supervising, and documenting team performance. Additionally, the role includes cleaning equipment according to SOPs, maintaining control of equipment and tools, and following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, vocational school, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience in food manufacturing.
  • Mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making, handling, and packaging equipment.
  • Familiar with SOP’s.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Minimum dough making experience required.
  • Minimum back up supervising experience required.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation.
  • Ensure team is in full compliance and training is up to date and documented.
  • Produce all product following production and packaging parameters to ensure quality requirements are maintained and documented.
  • Operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards.
  • Manage all GMPs, training, supervising, and documenting the team's performance.
  • Clean all equipment in accordance with the SOPs.
  • Maintain control of all equipment and tools.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, written or verbal.
  • Other duties as assigned.
