About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to set up operations and coordinate the production process. At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. We have implemented safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are working to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed within our facility. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are available to all team members and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer experience is required.
• Fryer Operator certification
• Bread/Batter Operator certification
• SAP certification
• HACCP certification
• Pallet jack driver certification
• All employees are required to attend employee and safety orientation prior to performing the above duties.
• The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the equipment if necessary.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on the equipment.
• Verify quality checks throughout the shift.
• Complete necessary reports.
• Make adjustments to process to ensure production specifications are maintained.
• Train all new employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
