The Production Lead directs and coordinates injection molding operations. The role supports production operators, oversees safe and efficient machine operation, and helps ensure products meet specifications and production goals. The Production Lead also enforces company safety and housekeeping practices, trains workers, and contributes to continuous improvement in safety, quality, production methods, and equipment performance. The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year of experience in injection molding operations and manufacturing, and certification or certifiability to operate an industrial forklift. Candidates must be fluent in English, have basic computer knowledge, understand manufacturing practices—especially plastics injection molding—and be able to operate a forklift and supervise groups of people. Work may involve occasional exposure to cold, heat, moving mechanical parts, confined work areas, and high noise levels. Hearing protection is provided. Employees must follow production-floor PPE requirements, including safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety shoes; additional PPE may be required depending on the station or department. Employees also receive training in the company's ISO management systems and applicable OSHA and safety requirements.
