About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is hiring a Lead Production to direct the safe and efficient operation of a department while performing simple production operations. The role monitors and drives plant performance indicators and aligns priorities with production demand. It is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and works a third shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with overtime as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in tube mill and/or roll-forming process functions.
• 1 to 3 years of experience with mill setups and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing and leading 10 or more employees at a time.
• Experience using special measuring devices, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Basic math and mechanical skills.
• Ability to train employees on safe and proper equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.
• Ability to meet negotiated timeframes in support of customer demands.
• Ability to think and react quickly, adapt to changing situations and priorities, and communicate production needs to support groups.
• Attention to detail, dedication, quality, consistency, and daily problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English well enough to understand and use job terminology.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to the dress code.
• Flexibility with production hours.
