About The Position

The Production Lead I guides and trains production employees and coordinates quality checks on an assigned production line. The role directs plant operations during the shift, assigns work, and helps meet production schedules while maintaining employee and product safety. The position also monitors usage and completes related paperwork.

The role requires frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing, as well as frequently lifting up to 20 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Ability to follow up, be punctual and outgoing, communicate and work well with others in a plant environment, multitask successfully, troubleshoot, and build collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies, and company staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
