Production Lead - 1st Shift

About The Position

The Production Lead guides and trains production employees and coordinates quality checks on an assigned production line. This role directs 12–40 employees, assigns plant operations during the shift, and helps meet production schedules while maintaining employee and product safety. The position requires production- and quality-consciousness, monitoring usage and paperwork, and effective communication and collaboration in a plant environment. The schedule is 1st shift, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and every other weekend. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing, as well as frequently lifting up to 20 pounds. Sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable; candidates are responsible for ensuring they are legally authorized to work in the location.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Ability to follow up, be punctual, and communicate and work well with others in a plant environment.
Ability to multitask successfully.
Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing; ability to frequently lift 20 pounds.
Must be legally authorized to work in the job location; work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
