About The Position

Rogers Group is seeking a Day shift Production Lead for our surface operation located in Hopkinsville, KY. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to: Lead a crew of 4-6 safely and effectively Identify and correct safety and production issues Routine equipment/plant maintenance and repair Operating various production equipment including fixed and mobile Involved with plant improvement projects Inspect, perform, and document daily repairs and maintenance on plant as needed Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Must have dedication to safe work practices.
Minimum of 2 years mining, industrial, or similar lead person experience is required.
Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Physical ability to lift, climb, and work on elevated platforms as required by the job.
Experience welding and cutting
Experience leading a crew in safety and production.

Nice To Haves

Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
