Production Lead - Aggregates
About The Position
Rogers Group is seeking a Day shift Production Lead for our surface operation located in Hopkinsville, KY. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to leading a crew of 4-6 safely and effectively, identifying and correcting safety and production issues, routine equipment/plant maintenance and repair, operating various production equipment including fixed and mobile, involvement with plant improvement projects, inspecting, performing, and documenting daily repairs and maintenance on plant as needed, and inspecting and maintaining crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must have dedication to safe work practices.
- Minimum of 2 years mining, industrial, or similar lead person experience is required.
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work on elevated platforms as required by the job.
- Experience welding and cutting
- Experience leading a crew in safety and production.

- Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required
