About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to bag and/or stack ice bags on pallets. Stack a variety of products, ranging from 5 lb to 40 lb bags onto standard pallets. Monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, discolored ice and any deviation from standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout 12-hour shift.
Must be able to work in room with temperatures of 45 – 60 degrees.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
