Production Generalist II - 2nd Shift
About The Position
A Production Generalist II adapts quickly to changing situations, handles stressful situations well, and works effectively as part of a team. The role assists with training programs, monitors and troubleshoots equipment, and performs data entry. The work environment is described as ever-changing. The position is scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on a 12-hour rotating shift. Pay starts at $24.04 and up, based on position and experience, with a $3 night-shift premium for hours worked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and a $2.25 weekend-shift premium for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Requirements
- At least one year of related work experience and/or training.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different situations.
- Ability to handle stressful situations well.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift 20–50 pounds and climb.
- Ability to work in humid conditions and extreme cold and hot temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry preferred.
