About The Position

The Generalist prepares surface-preparation and repair operations on aero-engine turbine airfoil components, including grit blasting, masking, blending, and other routine tasks. The role may assist with developing other team members and perform different aspects of the work in the assigned area to support personal development. The employee may also perform other duties as needed to support facility requirements and must comply with environmental, health, and safety rules, procedures, and policies. This is an onsite, safety-sensitive role at Pratt & Whitney’s FAA-regulated Grand Prairie facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Clear communication, analytical skills, creative troubleshooting, sound judgment, professional maturity, and strong interpersonal and social skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
