About The Position

Operate a forklift safely and responsibly, using fork and clamp attachments to transport finished goods and raw materials. Load and unload semi-trailers, complete or assist with related paperwork and communications, and use required scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory status through scans, written records, or logs. The role also includes lifting and carrying containers and packaging materials, communicating professionally with supervisors, coordinators, and coworkers, and assisting other departments as needed. The driver helps maintain a safe, clean work environment by inspecting work areas for unsafe acts or conditions, following safety rules and procedures, and performing sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties. Other duties may be assigned. The position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and to meet all applicable driving requirements, including P&G requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Must obtain or be able to obtain a Forklift Driver’s License.
Must have the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift safely and responsibly in accordance with training, operational rules, and safety guidelines.
Operate forklift fork and clamp attachments.
Transport finished goods and raw materials as directed.
Load and unload semi-trailers and complete or assist with necessary paperwork and communications.
Use required scanning equipment and maintain or update inventory information through scans, written records, or logs.
Lift and carry containers, pallets, shrink wrap, and other packaging as needed.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, coordinators, and coworkers.
Assist other departments as needed and perform other duties as directed.
Evaluate the work environment and take appropriate action to maintain safety standards and guidelines.
Inspect work areas for unsafe acts or conditions.
Use verbal and written communication effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, cleaning, and sorting as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures and fulfill all driving requirements, including P&G requirements.
