About The Position
The Backup Operator is responsible for supporting product safety and quality while operating the blow molder and downstream components. Duties include completing related paperwork, taking bottle measurements, cleaning molds, assisting with changeovers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The operator inspects work areas for unsafe conditions and follows established safety standards and procedures. The role requires multitasking and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and includes a six-week Blow Mold Basics operator training course, with formal evaluations at three and six weeks and additional periodic intervals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
- Able to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Willing to complete the six-week Blow Mold Basics Operator Training Course and undergo formal evaluations at three weeks, six weeks, and additional periodic intervals.
