About The Position

The Production Flow Coordinator ensures that the movement of jobs, materials, and products through the production process is smooth, efficient, and aligned with schedule requirements. This role acts as the communication bridge between departments, monitoring workflow in real time, solving bottlenecks, and ensuring production goals are met without compromising quality.

Requirements

Experience in production coordination or a similar role.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Understanding of production processes and quality standards.
Proficiency in tracking and reporting performance metrics.

Experience with 2nd shift operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor production orders from start to finish, ensuring each step is completed on time and according to quality standards.
Coordinate workflow between pressing, sleeving, assembly, packaging, and shipping teams.
Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts.
Maintain visibility on work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate any delays or changes to the schedule.
Collaborate with the production planning team to align daily and weekly schedules with production capabilities.
Communicate job priorities, production targets, and changes across all relevant departments.
Ensure smooth transitions between production stages by coordinating timing and resources.
Record production output, downtime, and job status updates in ERP systems.
Track and report on performance metrics such as throughput, job completion rates, and on-time delivery.
Assist with post-production review to identify areas for improvement.
