Lifekind Health is looking for a full-time Flow Coordinator in our Rancho Mirage clinic to care for a medically complex patient population that requires compassion, empathy, and the ability to deescalate and appropriately react in individual and group settings. Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification
• 2+ years of related experience

Nice To Haves

• Medical Scribe certification preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts prior to medical and behavioral encounters
• Collect and document vital signs
• Administer urine drug screen and record results, assist medical provider with UDS interpretation and process UDS confirmation as necessary
• Document injection consents and assist with injections
• Provide customer support to patients in the clinic including scheduling, appointment confirmation, and provider sequencing
• Document medical and behavioral encounters in health record management systems
• Administer and process consent forms and other patient questionnaires
• Assist medical and behavioral provider in writing and transferring orders
• Transfer imaging from partner portals into health record management systems
• Obtain and assist medical provider in reviewing the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) report
• Process referrals as ordered to other external providers and community health resources
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Data entry and administrative duties as assigned
