Surgical Flow Coordinator
About The Position
Reporting to the Nurse Manager Surgical Services, the Surgical Flow Coordinator (SFC) is responsible for optimized scheduling of surgical procedures at Qikiqtani General Hospital (QGH) that assures a safe, efficient, end-to-end perioperative client experience. The incumbent communicates with hospital clinics and territorial health services to determine and coordinate the clients’ needs and access to surgical services. These include that preoperative assessment is done, travel arrangements are complete, the time and date of the surgical procedure is explained and agreed upon by the client.

Responsibilities
- Optimized scheduling of surgical procedures at Qikiqtani General Hospital (QGH)
- Assure a safe, efficient, end-to-end perioperative client experience
- Communicate with hospital clinics and territorial health services to determine and coordinate client needs and access to surgical services
- Ensure preoperative assessment is done
- Ensure travel arrangements are complete
- Explain and agree upon the time and date of the surgical procedure with the client
