About The Position

Gradian is seeking an innovative Production Engineer to support new work entering Operations and create manufacturing packages for producing high-quality products. The role works with HVAC systems and components, including heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot and cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, and fan array systems. The position is based at the Maple Grove Office in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience with SolidWorks.
Experience with 2D CAD.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to small details.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the commercial HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

Manage and own projects from job release through job completion.
Purchase components and manage vendors.
Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain required materials and equipment.
Create manufacturing packages, including shop drawings and assembly instructions.
Provide shop and manufacturing support.
Develop engineering solutions to optimize sheet metal designs.
Participate in and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts.
Support the sales team with design reviews to help ensure successful installation.
