Production Cup Line Worker- 2nd shift

About The Position

The Production Cup Line Worker packs cases of product according to specified counts and pallet patterns, supplies packaging materials to the production line, and performs visual product inspections. The role includes quality checks, film roll changes, machine operation, production and ERP documentation, housekeeping, and sanitation support. The worker must follow standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety rules, and report discrepancies, quality issues, or downtime exceeding 15 minutes to a supervisor. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Read, write, and speak basic English.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with team members, including material handlers and operators, and work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented work habits.

Responsibilities

Pack cases to specified product counts and palletize according to required patterns.
Feed packaging material to the production line.
Visually inspect product for code dates, labeling and printing, damage, leaks, and other defects.
Perform and record fill-weight and product-conformance quality checks.
Change film rolls.
Notify a supervisor of discrepancies, quality issues, or downtime exceeding 15 minutes.
Follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules.
Complete production reports, including downtime allocation, and update the board.
Complete ERP transactions and print LPNs, or label pallets with specified documents during system outages.
Complete the startup checklist.
Maintain housekeeping.
Start and stop the machine.
Perform other activities requested by a supervisor, such as rework.
Assist with sanitation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
