About The Position

This position is responsible for safely producing crates for finished solid and veneered wood products using advanced machinery, hand tools, and sanding equipment. Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, product samples, and product development prototypes. The role requires a high attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work, along with overseeing the operation of machinery to ensure safe work practices and a safe work environment. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Dependable, punctual, good attendance.
Ability to interact well with others in the common pursuit of working safely while producing material that meets all quality attributes and standards.
Willingness to work overtime, averaging at least 40-50 hours of service per week.
Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS) sheets.
Minimum of GED or High School diploma.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Some knowledge of wood products and finishing.
Ability to read a tape measure.
1-3 years of past manufacturing experience.
