About The Position

Responsible for performing daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Packaging group builds custom packaging for assembled value add projects and raw materials. Packaging involves various skids, lumber, plywood, and packing materials to ensure the safe transport of goods to customer locations. Also responsible for loading and unloading trucks at the truck dock. Some warehouse functions require the use of automated packaging equipment, automated inventory handling equipment, other automated machinery, electronic tools, handheld tools, and/or fork trucks. Employees using tools, automated machinery/equipment, and fork trucks will be provided with proper training and safety devices. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience with a range of power tools including but not limited to saws, drills, and nail guns
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
  • High school students will be permitted to work prior to graduation if they are 18 or older
  • A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
  • Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
