About The Position
Seal & Design is a world-class facility and leading manufacturer and distributer of die cut gaskets, seals, O-rings and molded rubber and plastic products. The Production Associate fabricates orders according to job specifications with an eye towards process improvement, quality and meeting or exceeding job productivity and efficiency standards.
Requirements
- Ability to use measurement tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting goals
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical/manufacturing background is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operates machinery safely according to company policies
- Performs first-piece inspection and in-process inspection
- Cross trains and assists in other departments as required to meet production needs/deadlines
- Fabricates orders according to job specifications with an eye towards process improvement, quality and meeting or exceeding job productivity and efficiency standards
