About The Position

The Production Coordinator compiles records and reports on various aspects of a plant’s production activities. The role prepares production, downtime, inventory, and other regular or special reports; maintains production-related records and supplies; and supports production and inventory processes through documentation and data updates. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

Minimum high school graduate with experience in business or office procedures.
Minimum six months of experience in an office environment.
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers and business-related software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Prepare production reports on plant activity.
Maintain inventory of production-related items and supplies as required.
Prepare reports regarding production downtime for payroll as required.
Request new product codes as required.
Verify that production sheets are properly numbered and logged.
Prepare cycle count and inventory adjustments as required.
Perform cycle counting activities and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
Maintain and update YAM records and related production data as required.
Create and maintain black boxes and related documentation to support production and inventory processes.
Create Production / Shipping Packets.
Revise product costing as required.
Prepare regular and special reports as required.
Perform other duties as required.
