About The Position

Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a Production Coordinator. This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. The starting pay is $25/hr, with additional compensation possible based on experience. Requirements

Ability to read and follow work instructions
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and overall computer knowledge
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and high degree of initiative to resolve issues
Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with co workers & supervisors

Responsibilities

Assists production supervisors
Assists planning with scheduling of production jobs to meet customer requirements
Works closely with the supervisor and Material Handler in coordinating schedules
Monitors production job status to ensure on time delivery
Works closely with supervisor to ensure the areas have maintenance and engineering support as required to meet production demands
Monitor inventory levels on raw materials needed in production
Works closely with purchasing to ensure all items are available to meet production demands
