About The Position

The Production Controller works through production orders in a timely manner according to the worklist provided by the MPR Controller. The role maintains machine and personnel capacities in line with capacity demand and current production conditions, and coordinates material requests, material use, order confirmations, and material consumption. When required, the Production Controller plans the sequence within a specified safety period as part of production-order basic dates. The position also oversees stock levels in production supply areas, prepares reports and KPIs for the shop-floor management Meeting Point, and supports information flow about machine technical availability between Production and MRP. The role includes instructing and training employees on Production Control processes and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Work through production orders in a timely manner according to the worklist provided by the MPR Controller.
• Maintain available machine and personnel capacities in line with capacity demand and the current production situation.
• Organize material requests, use of the correct material, order confirmations for good quantities, quantities requiring reworking and rejected quantities, and material consumption.
• When required, plan the sequence within a specified safety period as part of production-order basic dates.
• Check and adjust stock levels within production supply areas.
• Create all reports and KPIs for the Meeting Point within shop-floor management.
• Participate in the flow of information regarding technical machine availability as the interface between Production and MRP.
• Instruct and train employees on processes relating to Production Control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
