Production Controller (2nd Shift) -Indianapolis, IN Production Controller Materials is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Production Controller is responsible establishing, reviewing and maintaining the production schedule in alignment with the Production Plan. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in materials.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Min. Yrs. Experience: 1-3 in a manufacturing/distribution environment
Basic mathematical skills
Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes

Demonstrate root cause analysis

Responsibilities

Establishes daily production manufacturing priorities for the customer demands consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives, and service level goals.
Implements production tools for building to actual customer demands, Kanbans, prioritizing builds, expediting and automating transactions per Lean concepts.
Executes prioritization changes due to customer requirement or shortage resolution.
Works with Customer Care processing customer order request.
