The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations at the assigned facilities. This role involves leading the facilities’ closing process, ensuring financial reporting meets corporate deadlines and complies with corporate policies, and producing periodic financial reports that adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards. The position requires performing analyses and preparing accounting journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, and producing budgets and forecasts while following up on deviations. A key responsibility is leading the development of quarterly forecasts for assigned locations, analyzing actual results versus forecasts, and preparing variance analyses. The Controller will identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for action, and partnering with operations to analyze various production metrics. Additional duties include preparing and presenting ad hoc cost analyses and reports, reconciling inventory balances, analyzing and reporting inventory reserves, and providing cost data for critical business decisions.
