About The Position
The Production Controller will support manufacturing for hardware and commercial product lines within the electronics manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for controlling the release, movement, and status of shop orders to ensure progress through manufacturing in accordance with schedules and delivery requirements. This is a direct hire, on-site position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing coordination, or shop floor control
- Strong experience with Excel
- ERP experience (Infor Visual preferred)
- Strong understanding of WIP control and manufacturing processes
- Ability to control and maintain shop orders and travels in ERP
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace/defense industry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Control the release, movement, and status of shop orders to ensure progress through manufacturing in accordance with schedules and delivery requirements.
- Support manufacturing for hardware and commercial product lines.
- Coordinate movement between departments.
- Identify and escalate shortages, bottlenecks, and schedule risks.
- Implement engineering change orders.
- Understand and adhere to production requirements.
