About The Position

The Production Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing production processes. This includes ensuring timely completion of production orders, maintaining capacity balance, organizing material requests and consumption, and reporting on key performance indicators. The role also involves managing stock levels, coordinating with the MRP system, and training employees on production control processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in working through production orders in a timely manner.
• Ability to maintain available machine and personal capacities.
• Skills in organizing material requests, ensuring correct material usage, and managing order confirmations.
• Experience in checking and adjusting stock levels.
• Capability to create reports and KPIs for shop floor management.
• Understanding of the flow of information between Production and MRP regarding machine availability.
• Experience in instructing and training employees on production control processes.

Responsibilities

• Working through production orders in a timely manner as per the worklist provided by the MPR Controller.
• Maintaining available machine and personal capacities in line with capacity demand and the current production situation.
• Organizing tasks relating to material request, use of the correct material, order confirmations (good quantities, quantities requiring reworking and rejected quantities), and material consumption.
• Planning the sequence within a specified safety period as part of the production order (basic dates), if required.
• Checking and adjusting stock levels within the production supply areas.
• Creating all reports/KPIs for the Meeting Point within the shop floor management.
• Participating in the flow of information regarding the technical availability of the machines as the interface between Production and MRP.
• Instructing and training employees on all processes relating to Production Control.
• Performing other duties, as assigned.
