About The Position

The Production Control Supply Planner Analyst will perform a variety of tasks with a focus on purchased material in support of program and factory build plans. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. The candidate also must be ready to work in fast paced environment and be prepared to learn logistics/transportation in supporting factory needs. The associated tasks listed below are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact on the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum two (2) years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with either Supply Chain, Production and/or Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Property Management, JIT Concepts, Master Production Scheduling, or Delivery Administration.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience with Rapid Response
  • Experience working with MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with a large external customer base, to accomplish tasks
  • Active DOD Security Clearance
  • Critical thinking and data analysis skills to ensure detailed status provided to the Program, Operations and Supply Chain teams
  • Ability to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Has good time management skills and knows how to stay organized

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate material availability, proactively identify potential gaps, and resolve material-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional activities with teams in Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project execution
  • Demonstrate advanced problem-solving capabilities to address challenges, reduce disruptions, and drive continuous improvement, while promoting proactive and strategic solutions to enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation.
  • Apply strong communication skills and foundational principles effectively in diverse scenarios to facilitate collaboration and understanding.
  • Skilled in analyzing large data sets to extract meaningful insights, driving informed decision-making and measurable business results.
  • Ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies by reconciling system inventory records with physical inventory levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), leveraging expertise to enhance personal productivity, team collaboration, and enterprise-wide efficiency.
