About The Position

This role involves leading day-to-day production planning and scheduling activities to ensure on-time delivery. The planner will oversee material readiness and inventory accuracy, addressing any gaps that could impact output. A key aspect of the role is driving accountability, coaching, and development of team members. The position also requires identifying and implementing continuous-improvement initiatives across planning and production support functions, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to align schedules and resources. This position requires the candidate to be a United States citizen.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in planning, scheduling, or inventory control, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
• Working knowledge of BOM structure, Manufacturing Production Planning Control processes and systems.
• Experience with ERP systems - SAP preferred
• Must be a United States citizen

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education with at least 2 years of experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently on highly detailed and focused tasks with moderate supervision.
• Ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
