About The Position

The ideal candidate will manage the picking and assigning of parts to open sales orders for shipment, in coordination with the manufacturing & planning coordinator and Sales team. This role involves verifying quantities to be part-marked, packaged, and shipped prior to picking to help streamline shipments. The position also assists in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the flow of materials, labor, and quality standards throughout the production cycle. Key responsibilities include managing material movement in production cycles to ensure seamless and continuous operations with all departments, ensuring a smooth running and efficient facility with a safe environment and quality control. Effective communication with all departments, such as engineering, quality, purchasing, sales, and logistics, is crucial to meet production goals and customer delivery requirements. The role also involves identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement, and coordinating with shipping personnel on inventory and stock movements. The use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment to move shipments is also a part of this role.

Requirements

  • Experience in production control and planning.
