About The Position

The Production Bulk Folder Operator performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. The role is responsible for safely, efficiently, and accurately handling merchandise into and/or out of the facility. Duties include folding and sorting linens and other merchandise, checking items for quality, verifying quantities, and placing bundles in designated storage areas. Work is performed in a warehouse environment and involves repetitive physical activity throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout an entire shift, including bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting.
• Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Stage carts in lift tables, secure safety chains, and raise the tables.
• Fold linens, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender and seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet quality standards because of rips, tears, holes, or stains.
• Verify merchandise quantities and bundle items by type.
• Place bundles in the correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow best practices in production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
