About The Position

The Blending Operator I is responsible for setting up blending equipment and all activities related to the blending of product as per formula instructions. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
Perform other projects / duties as assigned.
Maintain good attendance.
Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years’ experience

Responsibilities

Able to operate all V-blenders.
Able to perform weighing operations.
Able to perform loading operations.
Able to perform a daily preventive maintenance on the production equipment.
Monitor and troubleshoot machines and make minor adjustments on all machinery and equipment.
Maintain paperwork in a neat and accurate manner.
Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
Able to understand milligram, gram, and kilo scales.
Able to perform basic math calculations utilizing a calculator.
Interface with Production Manager, Supervisor, and Production Leads on a daily basis.
Clean machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
Able to train other production operators on safe and proper manner.
Utilize Redzone for communications, issues and create ideas/issues.
Run Redzone huddles.
Suggest ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.
