The Byesville, OH, USA plant is an integral part of their Beverage division, dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other liquid ingredients. The Production Operators in the Blending position are responsible for following recipes to ensure customers receive ideal liquid ingredients. This involves pulling raw ingredients, weighing, measuring, using lifts and cranes, learning processes, and following procedures. Attention to detail and maintaining safe processes are critical to ensure the best product is shipped daily, meeting or exceeding all governmental and Kerry processes and policies. Successful employees in this role are expected to be leaders for other employees and consistently communicate with the production team.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Eighteen (18) years or older
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record
  • Availability for overtime
  • Must be self-motivated and conscientious
  • Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
  • Ability to complete certification requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal
  • 6 months of prior lift truck, electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
  • Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes to ensure the customers receive the ideal liquid ingredients to meet their needs
  • Pull raw ingredients, weighing, measuring, use of lifts and cranes, learning processes and following procedures
  • Maintain safe processes to ensure that the best product is shipped daily
  • Meet and or exceed all governmental and Kerry processes and policies
  • Complete required training within deadlines
  • Embrace and practice safe work habits, Kerry policies and procedures
  • Participate in Kerry continuous improvement practices, development, and implementation initiatives
  • Support new-employee learning & development and cross-training initiatives
  • Consistently communicate with the production team
