The Byesville, OH, USA plant is a key part of the Beverage division, specializing in processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other liquid ingredients. Kerry is actively seeking career-oriented individuals to meet the growing demand for high-quality ingredients, offering a dynamic and enjoyable work environment. As a Manufacturing Operator in the Blending role, you will be responsible for mixing and preparing product batches, ensuring the safe operation of processing equipment, and guaranteeing that every batch adheres to quality standards. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that is essential for maintaining production flow.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong attendance
  • Commitment to safety and GMPs, including PPE usage
  • Attention to detail
  • Math and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to complete required certifications
  • Ability to promptly report food safety or quality concerns

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food or chemical manufacturing preferred (1 year)
  • Prior operation and certification with electric pallet jacks and lift trucks preferred (6 months)
  • Experience with inventory management, RF scanners, cycle counting, and SAP software is a plus
  • Ability to accurately prepare, receive, and ship orders following customer, company, and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

  • Mix and blend batches according to customer formulas
  • Verify ingredients, amounts, and lot numbers
  • Record batch details and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor processing controls and address issues quickly
  • Watch for anything that could affect sterility and report mechanical problems
  • Maintain steady product flow to avoid delays
  • Operate a lift truck to move and store ingredients
  • Clean equipment, tanks, rooms, tools, and piping
