Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
Responsibilities
- Directs and assist bed crew in setting up and pouring a bed and insures that all cables, steel pieces and other materials are properly placed.
- Daily review of shop cards for days pour, and plan required preparations to set up bed.
- Communicates with appropriate support employees to insure that all necessary materials are brought to the bed.
- Directs the crew as to the correct locations of all wood, steel and other materials.
- Continually checks the layout of the bed with daily shop cards throughout the shift to ensure accurate construction of concrete member.
- Directing and assisting employees to ensure that concrete member has correct finish.
- Insures that crew members appropriately strip bed, cleaning, oiling, placing bulkheads, plates, rebar, etc. throughout the shift.
- Help or assist with daily toolbox, production and/or safety meetings.
- Works as a production team member by being responsible for any additional duties that the Production Supervisor describes are needed to meet the production deadlines.
