The Production Lead will oversee pre-op and/or tear down depending on the shift, coordinate line set-up, and review production issues, schedule orders, and product specifications. This role involves working with other departments to prevent downtime, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and assigning personnel to workstations. The lead will also provide training, recommend corrective actions, and ensure specification compliance. Responsibilities include documentation and record-keeping for the production line, such as lot tracking, waste, quality checks, product usage, and standards. The position requires basic math skills, data entry capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret various production-related documents. This role is expected to cross-train in all lead areas related to production and packaging and requires working safely at all times, with approximately 95% of the shift spent on the floor. A flexible schedule is necessary, along with other duties as assigned.
