Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in setting up and operating audio mixers, video switchers, projectors, screens, among other audio & video equipment required in a live events setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, Audio and Video systems, and lighting systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of production systems such as video switchers, routers, audio mixers, and video streaming equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of RF, HDBaseT, UTP, and wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of various audio equipment (microphones, sound recording devices, speaker systems, etc.).
  • Knowledge of production camera equipment and operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Video/Audio Engineering, Communications or related fields.
  • 1-2 years experience working in fast-paced live event productions and entertainment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office, and other related software.
  • Prior experience in an arena, stadium, convention center, or like venue.
  • 1-2 years experience in installation of new audio, video, and lighting system infrastructure, including cabling, mounts, truss, and hardware.
  • CTS (or equivalent) certification.
  • Prior supervision of A/V (or similar staff).
  • Experience with video streaming services and live event production.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist in the production of all events for REV Entertainment, including major events (concerts, conventions, etc.), special events, and the stadium’s tour department.
  • Set and strike portable sound systems, microphones, projectors, and lighting equipment for various events and internal needs.
  • Interact and coordinate with production-based internal and external vendors to ensure smooth operation.
  • Convey electrical capabilities inside stadium and event spaces to clients and staff.
  • Assist event and production staff with AV assets, in-house feeds, lighting, and audio systems.
  • Schedule and train part-time operators with audio/video equipment (cameras, mixers, lighting, playback, switcher systems, etc.).
  • Keep accurate inventory of tools, machinery, cleaning supplies, and related audio visual equipment.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and secure competitive bids for event AV equipment maintenance and repair projects as needed.
  • Provide tech support for all software and hardware related computer and hardware issues that could arise in the production or execution of an event.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown (tables, chairs, staging, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn new Audio/Video operations and workflows, and ability to teach methods to part-time production staff.
  • Competently analyze, prioritize, and relay information to make appropriate recommendations for various productions.
  • Analyze, interpret, and design event AV layouts for live events.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
  • Maintain proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and strong organizational skills.
  • Be flexible with working long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.
