About The Position
The Production Associate, Corrugator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing tasks related to the Consumables Department. The role offers a leadership opportunity and involves setting up and operating equipment to produce components and assemblies, working with limited supervision, and maintaining production records and data for Engineering. This is an on-site position in DeLand, Florida, and reports to the Production Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least two years of production or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating corrugating or pleating equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or schematics.
- Experience using scorecards or other process-tracking tools.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform tasks related to the Consumables Department.
- Set up and operate equipment to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records and logs and collect data for Engineering.
