About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading the departmental team in producing, completing tasks, and receiving and shipping product safely, accurately, and on time. The lead keeps the crew on task and ensures deadlines are met. The role works with other departments in the Distribution Center and addresses issues involving customers, carriers, and employees. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The work takes place in a plant and office setting with varying temperatures and noise levels, exposure to moving manufacturing equipment and wet or slippery floors, and possible travel.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Lead the departmental team in producing, completing tasks, and receiving and shipping product safely, accurately, and on time.
Keep the crew on task and meet deadlines.
Operate mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks.
Operate and maintain an RF scanner (handheld warehouse computer).
Accurately complete work order sheets.
Clean and maintain warehouse floors and facilities as needed.
Complete reports and reviews for management.
Maintain communication with all departments in the Distribution Center.
Handle and address customer, carrier, and employee issues.
Follow company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.
