About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely handling shipments, properly caring for and handling inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures. The role includes inspecting units for quality, loading and unloading caskets, maintaining an organized work area, completing other warehouse duties, and safely operating power equipment. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with flexibility to work other days, shifts, and weekends as needed to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn to spot trailers.
• Dependability, honesty, ability to learn quickly, good communication skills, and teamwork.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shifts, and weekends, to meet customer demand.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 100 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear regularly.
• Ability to occasionally crouch and lift and/or move objects weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Ability to see clearly at near and far distances.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and without damage.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
• Handle shipments and inventory safely and follow standard work procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
